Definex S3 is a slim-line single door multifunction standalone keypad that supports up to 1000 users with a Card,digit PIN, or a Card + PIN option. It features a cast metal housing and backlit keypad with fully potted electronics, making W5 both weather (IP 66 rated) and vandal resistant. In addition, the W5 has inputs for REX switch/sensor, door contacts, as well as a Form ‘C‘ relay, tamper,..,etc. User cards or tags can easily be individually or batch enrolled.The built-in prox card reader supports 125kHZ EM cards or 13.56mHZ Mifare cards or EM + HID + MF 3 in 1 type cards combined. The W5 offers a 26 bit Wiegand input and output(WG34 optional) allows the unit to also operate as a dual credential (prox reader and keypad) access control system device.
It‘s ideal for installations in high traffic environments and the place like courtyard,bank,Prison etc.where need high level security. And also can be used for automatic gate by its relay built-in.
